BJP, Shiv Sena announces alliance, to contest Lok Sabha polls together

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announces an alliance with Shiv Sena today. Both BJP and Shiv Sena will contest for the Lok Sabha polls together as BJP will contest on 25 seats while Shiv Sena will contest on 23 seats. Remaining seats would be divided among other National Democratic Alliance (NDA) members in the state, added Fadnavis. Fadnavis also expressed that both parties would suffer if the alliance ends.
