BSP leader commits suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun, suicide note hints at harassment by SDM

A 40-year-old Bahujan Samaj Party leader ended his life at a tehsil office in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun district following alleged harassment by the SDM. The leader identified as Harveer Singh killed himself by consuming some poisonous substance on Saturday. Harveer Singh also left a two-page suicide note, in which he mentions that Sahaswan SDM Kishor Gupta and a kanungo harassed him over a strip of land that was allotted to him.
