Budget 2019: No changes in direct tax slabs for middle class

FM Piyush Goyal disappoints middle class as it makes no changes in direct income tax slab. Simplification of direct tax systems will be done to make a life of direct taxpayer easy. Tax exemption for those with income of Rs 2.5 lakh and under (it was RS 2 lakh so far). And tax rebates for those in the Rs 3 lakh income bracket. All IT returns taken for scrutiny also will be done from an anonymous computerised system.
