A court in Ranchi, Jharkhand has started proceedings in a case where Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union minister Ramdas Athawale are accused of cheating and dishonesty for not fulfilling the promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh into every Indian citizen's account. Ranchi-based lawyer called HK Singh filed a case against the leader after which the proceedings were initiated.
