Centre has turned to young IAS officers to fight up COVID-19 battle

DARPG conducted a survey which reveals 266 IAS officers submitted their suggestions and identified coronavirus hotspots across states. Bureaucrats have flagged crucial gaps such as acute shortage of medical staff, equipment and facilities such as ICU beds at hospitals, ventilators, ambulances and oxygen cylinders. They also pointed out the lack of quarantine, isolation & testing facilities. The survey was done from Mar 25-30.
