India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin said that in a globalised world, China will have to share information at some stage to help the world understand the Coronavirus and find a way to deal with it. There were reports that China which held the presidency of the 15-member United Nations Security Council for the month of March blocked any discussion on Covid-19.
