Chinese soldiers may skip ceremonial border meet on India’s I-Day

With the standoff between the Indian and Chinese army in Bhutan continuing for the 9th week, the ceremonial meeting between the two armies on August 15 (India's Independence Day) looks uncertain. The ceremonial Border Personnel Meeting is held along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh every year. PLA didn’t respond to India’s invitation for the August 15 ceremonial meeting.
