Concerned over national security, US puts China & Pak firms on entity list

The United States has put 12 foreign firms, including many from China and 1 from Pakistan, among others, in its entity list on Monday in order to assure that the sensitive technology does not fall into the hands of those who may endanger its national protection. "We are putting individuals & companies worldwide on notice that they'll be held responsible for backing Iran's WMD activities," said Secretary of Commerce.
