Counting for Haryana and Maharashtra assembly begins; BJP leading in early trends

The counting for the assembly elections that were held in Maharashtra and Haryana on Monday, has begun today on Friday. The votes will be counted for 51 assembly seats and two Lok Sabha constituencies spread across 17 states and one Union territory. Results from several other states, where by-polls were held, are awaited that include 4 seats in Punjab, 5 in Kerala, 3 in Sikkim, 2 in Rajasthan and 1 each in MP, Odisha and AP.
