Delhi Air Pollution: Odd-Even scheme ends, number of violator drops this time

The 3rd edition of the odd-even road rationing rule implemented due to poor air quality in Delhi. CM Kejriwal said a decision on extending it further will be taken on Nov 18. The anti-pollution measure was kicked in-on Nov 4 as the city's quality reaches the 'severe' category. A total of 4885 violators were fined this time with Rs 4000 each. The number of challans issued for violations of the rule for 9 days was less this time.
