Delhi Govt to procure and sell onions at cheaper prices in fair price shops and mobile vans. Kejriwal said his govt will offer relief to consumers troubled by the soaring price of onions. The govt is buying onions & the sale will start in 10 days at the rate of Rs 24 per kilo. Currently, onions are available at Rs 60-70 per kg in the retail market. The trade data shows onion prices skyrocketing to Rs 70-80 per kg last week.
