Delhi has had only four women cabinet ministers since 1993

While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has openly spoken about women’s empowerment, it was once again criticised heavily as no woman was included in its cabinet. While Delhi is among the only three states in the country, with Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh, which have seen two female Chief Ministers, its score on the count for cabinet ministers remained low. There have been only four female cabinet ministers in the city since 1993.
