Can you guess how many overseas Indians might have voted in the elections? As per the EC's data, only 25,000 of the nearly 1 lakh overseas Indians who registered as voters exercised their franchise in the 2019 LS polls. A total of 99,807 overseas Indians including 91,850 men, 7,943 women & 14 transgenders, living abroad, who have not given up their citizenship here are in the voters' list of various states.
