Maithripala Sirisena, Sri Lanka President, sacked the country's intelligence chief Sisira Mendis & will not cooperate with a parliamentary investigation into security lapses before the Easter suicide bombings. Mendis was sacked after he testified to the inquiry that the attacks could have been prevented. Source say that Sirisena refused to allow any police, military, or intelligence personnel to testify before the committee.
