Ensure normalcy restored in J&K: SC tells center

While hearing the pleas on abrogation of Article 370, the Supreme Court asked the Centre, state to ensure normal life is restored in J&K. Schools, hospitals, public transport should function properly, keeping in mind national safety and security, SC added. SC also directed center and J&K government to file an affidavit over petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370. SC fixed hearing on September 30.
