European Union declares Venezuela's envoy "persona non grata"

European Union responded to the Venezuelan government declaring the head of the EU delegation to Venezuela as persona non grata, by declaring Venezuela's envoy to the bloc "persona non grata". "The EU considers this declaration as wholly unwarranted and contrary to the EU's objective of developing relations and building partnerships in third countries," said Josep Borrell, the foreign policy chief of the bloc.
