European Union imposes sanctions on 40 Belarus officials, Lukashenko excluded

In a strict action against the rigged elections in Belarus, the European Union has agreed to impose sanctions on about 40 individuals in Belarus. "No Lukashenko is not on the current list, but of course we will follow the situation, we will follow developments," European Council President Charles Michel confirmed after the meeting of EU leaders. Michel said the council is ready to engage in a more positive agenda with Turkey.
