According to a recent study, less than 10% of EU aid money actually reaches to the poorer countries. Even though the EU and its members are the biggest development donor group in the world investing nearly 72 billion Euros, its contribution is going down and some of the countries are not meeting up to their commitments. Along with only 8% of the EU aid is going to the poorest countries in the world, the study revealed.
