In a first nationwide test of presidential alert test, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will send out a message to every phone on more than 100 carriers in the US. The message will read "THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed" and will be sent out at 2.18pm ET on Thursday.
