The Delhi government has stopped funding to 28 DU colleges for allegedly not forming governing bodies in the last 10 months. 12 are fully-funded and rest are partially-funded. The Delhi University had not appointed governing bodies to these colleges since October 2016, when their term had ended. "I can't allow unchecked corruption and irregularities to be sustained on govt funds in the name of Education," Sisodia tweeted.
