According to a recent Unicef report, over 500 million children globally between the age group of five to seventeen do not go to school and more than one-third of those children are in countries affected by disasters and conflicts. The report says when a country is hit by conflict or disaster the victims suffer twice as the schools and education centres get destroyed and eventually lead toward poverty.
