Globally China captured maximum number of journalists in 2019

At least 48 journalists have been imprisoned in China in 2019, which is more than any other country in recent time. With that China has displaced Turkey as the most oppressive place for the Journalists. In 2019, at least 250 journalists were imprisoned worldwide, according to the report by the Committee to Protect Journalists. According to the Chinese foreign ministry, U.S based institutions have no credibility in China.
