Commerce minister Piyush Goyal says the government is probing Walmart and Amazon over alleged discount sales. He added, detailed questionnaire have been sent to them and their response is awaited. Action will be taken against them as per law. Goyal told 'E-commerce companies have no right to offer discounts or adopt predatory prices. Selling products cheaper and resulting in the retail sector to incur losses is not allowed'.
