Govt used never-before-used power to issue direction to RBI chief

Govt has used rare powers to issue directions to the RBI chief on certain matters. In recent weeks govt has sent several letters to RBI, after deputy governor Viral Acharya warned the Center about consequences if they try to interfere in the autonomy of RBI. For the first time in independent India, Govt is using the power mentioned in Sector 7, where it is written that govt can give suggestions to the RBI governor.
