HC orders life imprisonment to Sajjan Kumar in 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots Case

The Delhi High Court on Monday has convicted Congress leader, Sajjan Kumar in the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots Case and sentenced him with life imprisonment. With this decision, the court has reversed the order given by the trial court which acquitted him earlier. He has been found guilty for killing 5 people in Delhi Cantonment on October 31, 1984, followed by the assassination of Indira Gandhi.
