Alejandro Mayorkas, the new Secretary of the Homeland Security department has said the Biden administration is "working around the clock to replace the cruelty of the past administration with an orderly, humane, and safe immigration process." Mayorkas slammed Trump and his policies while accusing his administration of dismantling the country's "immigration system in its entirety." He said the entire system was "gutted."
