Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has announced that the controversial extradition bill that has caused months of unrest and crisis that the city has ever experienced has been withdrawn. The protests initially started in June, and the withdrawal of the draft was one of the key demands of the protesters. Earlier, Lam announced that the bill was 'dead'. With that, Hong Kong has returned to China with '1 country, 2 systems' formula.
