Human rights watchdog Amnesty urges Centre to stop using excessive force against protesters

Amnesty International India, human rights watchdog has urged the Centre to order its forces to immediately stop using excessive force against protesters, who are agitating against the amended CAB act. It said Centre must ensure that the right to life is protected at all cost. The agency's executive director Avinash Kumar urged both the Centre & state govt's to immediately engage with people for a peaceful dialogue.
