In progressing India, 1 GB data cheaper than cold drink: PM Modi

On his visit to Japan, PM Narendra Modi talked about the progress of India in terms of digital infrastructure and said that in India 1 GB data is cheaper than the cold drink bottle. It was a 13th India-Japan annual summit for which he went to Japan on Saturday. There Modi talked about the expanding network of telecommunications and internet in India. As per EY, by 2022, India’s digital economy is expected to grow to $1 tn.
