India asks Pakistan to allow using its airspace for PM Modi's US trip

India has formally requested Pakistan to let PM Modi's plane use its airspace for Modi's trip to New York. It is mandatory for Pak to respond to India's request before Sept 20 and a final response will be given after consultation with their authorities. If Pak decides against allowing Modi's flight to use its airspace, it will be a violation of the International Civil Aviation Organisation charter.
