India briefed envoys of the 5 permanent members countries of the UNSC over its decision of scraping the Article 370 & bifurcate the state. The briefing was only to explain the process of Parliament by which the article that granted special status to J&K was scrapped. It was also conveyed that the decision was internal to India; aimed at good governance, promoting social justice & ensuring economic development in J&K.
