India criticized Pakistan for not allowing President Kovind to use its airspace

India slammed Pak for denying its airspace to President Ram Nath Kovind's aircraft to fly over it during an official visit to Iceland & asked them to recognize the 'futility' of such unilateral actions. EAM spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said India regretted Pak's decision to deny overflight clearance for VVIP special flight, which is granted routinely by any country. Kovind's flight has to now take a long detour due to the denial.
