India protests against Pakistani discourtesy

1800 Sikh pilgrims who are in Pakistan for pilgrimage purposes, were supposed to meet the Indian High Commissioner, were denied the meeting. The IHC was made to return midway, with unspecified security reasons being cited as the reason. India has thus lodged a protest against the Pakistani action which violates the Vienna convention, for not allowing diplomats to perform basic consular duties for their citizens.
