India on 6 January summoned Pakistan's acting High Commissioner, Syed Haider Shah to the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi to lodge a protest over the attack on Nankana Sahib Gurudwara and the killing of a Sikh youth in Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs slammed Pak for minority persecution, after the killing of 25-year-old Sikh man, identified as Ravinder Singh, who was allegedly murdered in Peshawar.
