Indian govt is planning to build a database containing biometrics and information of all its citizens to enable further surveillance. The new database will have information regarding their jobs, moving from one city to another, and changes in the family trees. Every single citizen will be geo-tagged through a geo-spatial database built by ISRO. This info was acquired by an Internet governance researcher, though a RTI act.
