INS Kalvari boosts India's submarine fleet

The Indian Navy is preparing to take delivery of INS Kalvari, a diesel-electric submarine which is among the world's stealthiest, after several years of delay. The commissioning of INS Kalveri is going to be a milestone for India’s underwater forces. This is the 1st of 6 French-made Scorpene submarines that Navy has ordered. Currently they have just 15 submarines in its fleet as compare to 60 with China.
