Iran admits for the first time, says its armed forces mistakenly fired 2 missiles at a Ukrainian passenger jet that killed 176 people aboard earlier this month. It triggered protests in Tehran. Iranian officials released only a preliminary report that said the black boxes recovered from the aircraft were still to be examined. Canada had lost 57 citizens aboard the flight, has called France to handle the investigation.
