Irrigation scam case against Ajit Pawar allegedly closed 48 hours after swearing-in as Deputy CM

According to some reports, the irrigation scam case against Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar was officially closed today, just 48 hours after his swearing-in as the deputy CM of Maharashtra. The scam, pegged at around Rs 70,000 crore, relates to alleged corruption and irregularities in approval and execution of various irrigation projects in Maharashtra. However, the ACB said the closed cases weren't even related to Ajit Pawar.
