Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's PM, has announced that he has informed President Reuven Rivlin that he has been unable to form a new govt following Sep elections. He posted on his official FB page 'A short time ago I informed the president that I was handing back my mandate to try to form a government'. Now, Gantz, the head of opposition will have 28 days to attempt to forge a coalition or risk another election being called.
