On Tuesday morning, Adagur H. Vishwanath, Karnataka president of Janata Dal (Secular) has resigned from the post putting an end to the speculations of his exit. It is being expected that he resigned as he was not happy with the appointment of candidates for the urban local body poll without his consultation. On Monday, he said that he was not asked for finalizing the candidate list for the ULB polls.
