Karnataka seeks center’s approval for the new State flag

State flag of Karnataka has been unveiled on Thursday by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and if the centre approves the flag then it’ll be the second state to have a flag of its own after Jammu and Kashmir. However, Karnataka’s decision to have a separate flag irked the BJP as it would fuel "separatist sentiments" but CM Siddaramaiah has said that the constitution doesn’t bar the states from having its own flag.
