Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan wrote a letter to his Karnataka counterpart seeking the release of journalists detained in Mangalore. Kerala-based TV Channels media persons were arrested while trying to report the post-mortem proceedings of 2 people killed in police firing in Mangaluru. The media persons included representatives from Asianet, Mathrubhoomi, News18, etc. CM Vijayan condemned the incident.
