LS Polls 2019: Phase IV had 64% voter turnout; 1.33% VVPAT malfunctioned

LS elections Phase IV were held in 72 constituencies across 9 states which saw 64% turnout. A Congress worker was stabbed to death in Odisha. Technical glitches in EVM were also reported that delayed polling in 60 booths.1.33% VVPATS malfunctioned & 0.44% ballot units were replaced. Bengal recorded the highest turnout with 76.66%, 55.86% in Maharashtra. 59.02% in Bihar & 64.38% in Jharkhand as per the EC data.
