Maharashtra Assembly polls: Congress releases first list of 51 candidates

The Congress has released the first list of 51 candidates for Maharashtra assembly elections. Some prominent faces are Balasaheb Thorat, Vijay Wadettiwar & Ex-CM Ashok Chavan. The Congress & NCP had finalized their seat-sharing of 125 each earlier this month. State party chief Balasaheb Thorat will file nomination from his hometown Sangamner. The assembly elections in Maharashtra will be held on Oct 21.
