Maharashtra, Haryana Assembly polls to be held on 21 October, Results on 24 October

CEC Sunil Arora holds a press conference and announced October 21 as the date of Assembly polls in Haryana and Maharashtra. Filing of nominations begins on September 27 and end on October 4. CEC assured that special security arrangements will be made for LWE affected areas in Gadchiroli and Gondia in Maharashtra. The 5-year term of the Legislative Assemblies of Haryana and Maharashtra expires on 2nd and 9th November.
