Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis announced his resignation in a press conference after Deputy CM Ajit Pawar resigned amid the political turmoil in the state. Fadnavis said Amit Shah conveyed it clearly that CM will be from BJP but Shivsena started horse-trading in the lust of power and conspired to keep BJP out of power. He further said that BJP will act as a strong opposition and thanked the people of Maharashtra for their support.
