MEA urges Pakistan to reconsider its decision of levying service fee of $20 on pilgrims

The Ministry of External Affairs has urged the Pakistan government to reconsider its decision of imposing a service fee of $20 on pilgrims. The Indian government made the request while agreeing to sign the agreement. The Indian government also said that it will be ready to amend the agreement accordingly at any time. This is not the first instance when India has requested Pakistan to re-think about the service fee.
