The EC has sent notices to Union minister Anurag Thakur and BJP MP Parvesh Verma for their controversial remarks at 2 election rallies in Delhi. Thakur urged a crowd at an election rally to say 'goli maaro' in a widely shared video. Hence, he was served the notice. He lashed out at anti-CAA protesters while campaigning for BJP candidate Manish Chaudhary in Rithala. The minister was not available for comment.
