Months after Steve Forbes belittled Demonetization, Forbes magazine praised Modi's success

PM Modi has been ranked among the top 10 most powerful influential people of 2018 by Forbes magazine. He has ranked 9th, and Forbes said that he has raised his profile as a global leader and has mentioned demonetization as one of his key actions. However, in the past, Steve Forbes, the chief editor of the magazine has belittled demonetization by calling it a theft of people’s property.
