Myanmar leader Suu Kyi set for genocide hearings

Myanmar leader and Nobel peace prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi with full support from her followers left for the hearing on December 10 in UN’s top court in The Hague to defend her country against charges of genocide of its Rohingya Muslim minority. Gambia, a Muslim West African country, had filed a lawsuit accusing Buddhist-majority Myanmar of genocide, a serious international crime, against Rohingya minority.
